Allie's Spring Must Haves!

The chapter is closing on our junior year, so we decided to sit down and chat with y’all about some of the products and things we simply couldn’t have lived without this year! 

Hey! Allie here- let’s talk about my recent faves a.k.a. things I simply couldn’t have lived without my junior year of college!

Elf halo glow + Maybelline Sky High mascara

Let’s be so honest, I’m in my broke girl era. I wrote a blog all about my fave drugstore makeup finds, but these two have become staples in my everyday makeup routine. On a daily basis, I simply don’t have time for a full face of makeup. But most days, I have 2 minutes to throw these two products on and they DEFINITELY help boost my confidence for the rest of the day. 

My Kindle and fave books! 

I got a Kindle for Christmas this last year and I’ve just been reminded of how much I LOVE to read. I have LOTS of recommendations for y’all, so don’t you even worry– there’s a blog coming your way all about it, I have much to say about the books I’ve been reading recently.

There are two main reasons I’ve loved having my Kindle this year: 

1) I can always keep it in my backpack or my purse and easily pull it out and catch up on my reading wherever I’m at! 

2) It’s super easy to read it in the dark! Y’all know I have a roommate this year, and I love to read before I go to bed. But, with each of us having different sleep schedules, I’m often up later than my roommate. Whether it’s the best for my eyes is up for debate, BUT it’s super easy to read my kindle without feeling like I need to have my lamp on. 

Pearl hoops 

Yet another Christmas gift that has QUICKLY become a staple in my life. This semester, I’ve had an internship where I have to dress business casual. I’ve been spoiled in college with the freedom to wear athleisure to class and changing up my wardrobe on the days I work hasn’t been the easiest thing. However, spicing up my outfits with these pearl hoops has brought me so much joy. If you see me dressed up, there’s a HIGH chance I’m rockin’ the hoops! 

Conrad Fisher

Yes. The book character. Yes. I know I’m crazy. I’ve just decided that he’s truthfully my dream guy. That’s all! Conrad Fisher! 

Bachelor Nights

Before this year, I would have considered myself a casual bachelor viewer. This year, however, changed that! My weekly Bachelor nights in my room with my friends Courtney and Sloane became a sweet tradition that I looked forward to every week. Now that the season is over, I’m quite sad and there’s a hole in my heart that won’t be filled until the Bachelorette starts airing. 

Nuuly

I talked about it on the pod, and I showed off some of my fave pieces from this month on Tiktok… but Nuuly has been the most epic find this year. If you don’t know what Nuuly is, it is a rental platform that allows you to borrow six pieces of clothing for $98 a month.

This January, I went to New York City with my sister and we used Nuuly to make sure we had cute clothes that fit not only the stylish city but also the January weather. We rented bright and fun coats for the month of January, Abbie even decided to purchase her coat from Nuuly at a discounted cost.

In March, I used Nuuly to find my formal dress. Not only was I able to find my dress through Nuuly, I was able to team up with some of my friends and all get our dresses together. We were able to rent each of our formal dresses for less than $20 each! I’ve also used Nuuly to find my birthday outfit and my Easter dress.
